Yuri Polissky

Students of NMetAU do not become ex-students. The years go by, the name of our academy changes, but the students who left these walls remember their alma mater and join our project.

Our new author is Yuri Polissky, a student of the MZ-55-4A group!

He was born on August 23, 1938 in the city of Dnepropetrovsk. He graduated from Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation. In 1973 he defended his thesis. Honored Inventor of Ukraine (Presidential Decree No. 498 of 16 September 1999). Academician of the International Academy of Authors of Scientific Discoveries and Inventions (2007).

Poet, novelist and translator. Member of the Interregional Union of Writers of Ukraine and the International Community of Writers' Unions. The author of the books "Every woman is an event", "Around me from A to Z", "For a long time we have grown up", "I accept both thorns and roses", "The dawn wakes alleys", "AVE", "Rubai", " I am looking for yesterday "and two books of translations from Ukrainian. He was published in international literary and art magazines, almanacs, collective collections and newspapers. Member of the editorial board of the magazine "AVE". Winner of the lit. awards to them. "Young Guard", him. L. Vysheslavsky, them. O. Bisharyov, im.M. Svetlov.

Yury Polissky acquaints us with this form of poetry as a one-word multi-rhythm, the founder of which is the poet and musician Alexander Hami.
