Since time pulpit of lifting machines began to read discipline "Detail of the machines", managed by prominent scientist in the field of friction and wear-out of the details of the machines – master of sciences professor S.F. Chukmasov since 1948. After reorganization it was called the pulpit of the details of the machines and lifting-transport machines. Offered by S. F. Chukmasov method of the hot packaging of the scrap metal began to use in industry, for development of the complex of the machines and mechanisms. For realization of this method professor S.F. Chukmasov and assistants of professors A.I. Zazimko, P.I. Puzyrikov in 1971 were awarded the State prize of the USSR.

Since 1960 discipline TMM was also delivered on this pulpit. Here began to work the assistant professor Y.M. Raskin, assistents V.I. Litvishkov, V.A. Zdanevich, G.I. Dubovoy. Several have earlier begun to teach on the pulpit B.P. Ryabov, T.I. Shostak, A.L. Sudarushkin, I.P. Petrichenko, I.P. Zemlyakov.
