Inventors’ and Innovators’ Day at the Patent Department of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Universal Scientific Library
Every year on the third Saturday of September, Ukraine celebrates Inventors’ and Innovators’ Day. This is a professional holiday for inventors and developers, as well as engineering, technical, and scientific professionals, whose work constitutes the country’s innovative potential. In 2026, the holiday fell on September 19.
In Ukraine, Inventors’ and Innovators’ Day was declared an official holiday pursuant to Presidential Decree No. 443/94 of August 16, 1994.
At the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional Universal Scientific Library, traditional events marking this holiday take place in the Patent and Technical Department.
