Dear colleagues!
The Department of Branch Funds of the Scientific Library of UDUNT (IPBT) brings to your attention recommended bibliographic index "Academic Oleksandr Chekmaryov - a man of kindred work", compiled for the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist-metallurgist Oleksandr Petrovych Chekmaryov, which the metallurgical community celebrated in September 2022.
The author-compiler of the index is Mykola Andriyovych Myronenko, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor of the department of management of IPBT, a metallurgical engineer by education, a graduate of the department of OMT. It took the author more than a year of painstaking work to collect the material and compile the index.
The library staff express great gratitude to the author for his important work.

Recommended bio-bibliographic index "Academic Oleksandr Chekmaryov - a man of kind work" is dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding scientist-metallurgist, doctor of technical sciences, professor, academician of two academies, founder of the Ukrainian school of scientists-metallurgists in the field of rolling production, laureate of State awards Oleksandr Petrovych Chekmaryov. The publication contains an essay and memoirs about the life and activities of O. P. Chekmaryov, as well as a bibliography of his works and publications about him. The bibliography is grouped by sections and in direct chronology, which makes it possible to follow the scientist's life and creative path. Completed with a name index. The bibliography does not pretend to be absolutely complete, as this is the first attempt to organize it, but it can become the basis for further research of the scientific and social activities of the metallurgical scientist. The index is intended for researchers of the history of science in the Dnieper region and in Ukraine in general, local historians and anyone interested in the activities of prominent people of our region.
