International Conference «Innovative Technologies in Science and Education. European Experience» (EU)
For the first time, the conference was held in 2017 in Austria, on the basis of the University of Vienna.
2018 - the conference was held on the basis of Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland); 2019 - UvA University (Amsterdam, Netherlands); 2020 - the conference was not held due to restrictions introduced in Ukraine and EU countries due to the difficult epidemiological situation; 2021 - Aalto University (Helsinki, Finland).
Time: the second half of November or the beginning of December (specific dates are announced 1-1.5 months before the start).
Forms of participation: in person, in absentia.
Legitimacy and features: The co-organizer of the conference - the Institute of Modernization of the Education Content of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine every year includes the conference in the list of scientific conferences on the problems of higher education and science. As part of the conference, the organizing committee provides an opportunity (only for in-person participants!) to take an English language exam, followed by obtaining (based on the results of the exam) a certificate in accordance with the All-European Recommendation on Language Education (level B2).
Main directions (sections):
- innovative technologies in education;
- modern problems of the development of certain branches of science.
Conference languages: Ukrainian, English.
At the end of the conference, all participants who have sent reports (abstracts) receive a collection of materials in the form of a book or electronic (CD), as well as a certificate confirming the publication of materials in the collection.

NEXT CONFERENCE. The 6th international conference "Innovative technologies in science and education. European experience" is included by the Institute of Modernization of the Content of Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine to the List of scientific conferences on the problems of higher education and science in the system of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Ukraine for 2023 (chapter I /International conferences/, item 516 ). According to the specified plan, the conference was supposed to take place on the basis of Aalto University, Helsinki /Finland/), but due to a number of restrictions related to the operation of the legal regime of martial law, as well as certain objective circumstances, the place and dates of its holding were changed. With the consent of one of the titular organizers (Algarve University), it was decided to hold the conference on January 16-18, 2024 in the city of Faro (Portugal) on the basis of one of the university's divisions. It is planned to prepare and publish a collection of conference materials in the "electronic edition" format in accordance with current requirements and assigning an international ISBN index.
